Conservatory of Music sponsors Duo Master Class: Vinson Cole and William Whitener

[The following was provided by the Conservatory of Music and Dance.]

The Conservatory of Music and Dance is sponsoring a Duo Master Class, featuring Vinson Cole and William Whitener at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 at the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity. The presentation is followed by a reception with the artists, 6  to 6: 30 p.m. The class is co-sponsored by the Kansas City Ballet.

Vinson Cole is a Conservatory professor of voice, and the Conservatory’ s Muriel McBrien Kauffman Artist in Residence. He will coach Conservatory opera student Amanda Frederick, soprano, who is preparing a solo for Lucia di Lammermoor.

William Whitener is the Kansas City Ballet’ s artistic director, and he will coach the Ballet’ s dancer Nadia Iozzo in the title role of Giselle.
