Kansas City Repertory Theatre recently appointed two new administrative staff: Rob Knop as Senior Director of Marketing and Jennifer Ingraham as Senior Director for Advancement.
An experienced arts marketer, Knop specializes in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to support arts institutions and their programs. At Kansas City Rep he will be a member of the senior management team and will be responsible for all strategic marketing decisions for advertising, ticket sales, social media and audience development. He will also supervise box office, ticketing and front-of-house staff. Knop comes to the Rep after being at Seattle Repertory Theatre for fourteen years, where he served in a number of capacities, most recently as Marketing and Audience Development Director. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Syracuse University and an Associate’s Degree in Music Composition from Berklee College of Music.
As the Rep’s Senior Director for Advancement, Ingraham will manage planning and implementation of annual giving, growing the Rep’s endowment and future capital campaigns. She will also be a member of the theatre’s senior management team. Ingraham, who previously served as Park University’s Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, has ties to UMKC and its communities, serving for six years as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Prior to that, she was the Associate Director for Development at Kansas City Rep. Ingraham earned her M.S. in Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Kansas and her B.A. in Communications from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.
Now in its 47th season, Kansas City Repertory Theatre is its region’s only member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) and serves as the professional theatre in residence at UMKC.
