Out in Cyberspace: UMKC’s Women’s Center and Women’s & Gender Studies Program

An increasing number of UMKC’s academic units, divisions, departments and affiliated groups are establishing their individual presence on the Internet through e-newsletters, Facebook and Twitter pages, YouTube videos and blogs. UMatters has dedicated a special page – Newsletters/Social Media – as a university- wide resource for finding and connecting to those web tools.

 

UMKC Women’s Center, whose mission is to advocate, educate, and provide support services for the advancement of women’s equity on campus and within the community at large, and the Women’s & Gender Studies Program are two examples of our university developing and maintaining a growing resource of electronic communications.
