[The following was provided by UMKC’s Counseling Center.]

Faculty and instructors, as you plan your Fall courses, remember that the UMKC Counseling Center staff are available to come speak to your class on a variety of topics, including

  • Overview of Counseling Center services and how to access them
  • Stress
  • Test Anxiety
  • Study & Test-Taking Skills
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Alcohol/Drug Abuse
  • Eating Disorders and Body Image
  • Procrastination and Motivation
  • …and more!

We are also happy to come to your class when you need to be away (such as at a conference).  Advance scheduling is helpful.

See our Counseling Center’s website for more information.

To schedule a visit, fill out the online form or contact Rachel Pierce via email or phone (816-235-5186).
