The UMKC health and life sciences schools will co-host the UMKC Health Sciences Research Summit on Wednesday, April 20, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the UMKC Health Sciences Building (HSB) on the Hospital Hill Campus.
UMKC students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by HSB to learn more about the health sciences research being conducted in the Schools of Biological Sciences, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy and the research collaborations taking place across the disciplines.
During the event, students and faculty of the health and life sciences schools will showcase their research in the form of poster presentations, with more than 115 posters on display throughout HSB.
Judy Baker, Regional Director, Region VII, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will be the Keynote Speaker at the Research Summit Opening Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. in HSB, room 3301.
