[The following was provided by the UMKC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Athletes.]
The UMKC men’s and women’s tennis athletes will offer a Lessons for Life tennis clinic for employees and family members over the age of 16, on October 6, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the Plaza Tennis Center, 4747 JC Nichols Pkwy, Kansas City, MO.
The event is free, but the tennis team asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice. Donations will be collected and delivered to the appropriate organization on your behalf.
Included in your registration and donation is complimentary admission to the Women’s Professional Tournament taking place that evening, along with a goody bag. Register online at the UMKC Kangaroos website.
The Kansas City United Tennis Club will also host free youth clinics on October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. and October 9th from 9-10:30 a.m. Each child plus one adult will receive free admission to all matches held that day.
