The International Center for Supplemental Instruction (SI), part of UMKC’s Center for Academic Development, hosts the 6th International Conference on Supplemental Instruction in New Orleans June 2nd-4th.
The conference provides a unique opportunity for delegates to hear from national and international practitioners about the latest research and best practices related to SI and VSI (Video-based Supplemental Instruction).
The New Orleans event will center on SI’s enduring focus on student success, motivation, and retention, while recognizing the importance of bringing students together to connect with one another and collectively engage in the learning process.
Dr. Alastair Summerlee, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Guelph, and Dr. Saundra McGuire, Vice Chancellor at Louisiana State University, will be featured as key-note speakers.
