Chancellor’s Forum with Staff

The Staff Council Advocacy Committee is hosting a forum with Chancellor Leo E. Morton on Thursday, February 20th at 2pm in Pierson Auditorium, Atterbury Student Success Center.

The forum is an opportunity for staff to meet with the Chancellor and get answers to the questions that matter to staff. More than 40 questions were submitted by staff by January 29, 2014. All of those questions have been submitted to the Chancellor. Questions range from budget and Human Resources to campus updates.

Didn’t get your questions submitted? There may be time at the end of the forum for additional questions, so be sure to attend.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Shuttle Schedule from Hospital Hill
There will be a shuttle departing from the School of Medicine’s circle drive at 1:30 and another at 1:40 to transport staff from the Health Sciences Campus to the Student Success Center. Shuttles will make a return trip at the end of the event.

Volunteer at Gillis Center

Please join the Outreach Committee on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 5:45 to 7 pm, as they host a “Cottage Pals” Reading, Games, and Creative activities evening for the children of Gillis Center for Children and Families.

Volunteer sign up is required, and space is extremely limited, so sign up early to participate in this fun filled evening. Sign up here by February 21, 2014.

Gillis Center’s mission is to help at-risk children and families reach their potential through education, counseling, and social services.
