This three-hour offering is for current and future business owners and entrepreneurs who have little or no knowledge of writing a business plan.
Manage Your Financials–Don’t Let Them Manage You
In this three-hour offering, you will learn to identify key business information that is captured on the income statement and balance sheet. You will learn to calculate several ratios and understand what those ratios mean in terms of business productivity and success. You will leave this session with a greater understanding of how to read and interpret financial documents and how to use that information to drive business decisions.
Command Your Cash
In this three-hour offering, we’ll take a close look at where cash comes from in a small business, where it’s used in day-to-day operations and how to identify and correct cash flow problems. At the end of the session, you’ll be able to identify key information on cash flow statements and be able to follow the path of cash as it travels through your company.
Social Media Secrets and Strategies for Business
How to utilize social media to benefit your business, including what a Business-to-Business vs. Business-to-Customer strategy looks like and how your website should be working to help facilitate the growth of your business.
Ice House Entrepreneurship Program
This course is a revolutionary new learning program designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide.
In this 30-hour course, you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects.
In order to attend any of the above courses, participants must attend both The First Steps to Starting a Business and The Basics of Writing a Business Plan before they are eligible to enroll in additional coursework.
