UMKC Provost Leaves University to Pursue Another Opportunity

After six years as executive vice chancellor and provost at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Gail Hackett is leaving the university to pursue another opportunity.

Hackett will begin her role as provost of the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., on March 1. VCU’s enrollment is about twice the size of UMKC’s enrollment. Read more.
