UMKC Names 2014-15 Trustees’ Scholars

Seven outstanding high school students receive top scholarship

The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) is pleased to announce the incoming class of UMKC Trustees’ Scholars. Each year, UMKC names a select group of academically gifted and accomplished entering freshmen as Trustees’ Scholars. The UMKC Trustees created the scholarship program to support the University in attracting the best and the brightest students to UMKC.

Each Trustees’ Scholar receives an aid package valued at more than $60,000 over four years. For the first two years, the package covers educational fees and room and board. In the third and fourth years, the package provides educational fees and $2,000 for room and board, as well as opportunities to network and find internships or jobs through the Trustees and their connections in the community.
