Students Share Ideas for New UMKC Arts Campus in Downtown Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One block of downtown Kansas City will be transformed into a site especially for the arts.

Architecture and urban planning and design students from UMKC have spent the past semester brainstorming ideas to make the downtown arts campus not only great for the school, but also for the community.

On Wednesday, second-year architecture students unveiled their ideas. It’s part of an annual design competition where students work with local and national architecture firms. Read more.
