Main Street Elementary Principal Kristi Shinn presented a group of teachers from her school who have been working on the UMKC Inclusive Schools Collaborative Project. These teachers are working with University of Missouri Kansas City researchers to develop a training program for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which will assist teachers in working with special needs populations.
