Part of 47th Street Closed Aug. 26-30

The City of Kansas City is closing 47th Street between Main Street and J.C. Nichols Parkway for five days, starting at 3 am next Monday, August 26.

The road closure, which is scheduled for completion on Friday, August 30 at 3 pm, will allow crews to quickly complete pavement rehabilitation in the area.

During the closure, traffic will detour to Ward Parkway. Workers will maintain northbound and southbound access at 47th Street and J.C. Nichols Parkway and 47th and Main Streets through construction.
