A team of five students from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Henry W. Bloch School of Management’s Intensive Full-Time MBA program have been selected as finalists for the 26th Annual Wake Forest Marketing Analytics Summit.

The team, comprised of Akash Kandhari, Aditya Rajagopalan, Ashley Hufft, Erin Christiansen and Kara Macy, will compete for the top prize in Winston-Salem, North Carolina April 11 and 12. The Bloch team’s video submission can be viewed here.

The Marketing Analytics Summit, held in conjunction with the Inmar Analytics Forum, is a student-run competition that offers both graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to apply their marketing skills and creativity to real-world business challenges. This is the 26th year for the competition, with teams competing for a prize purse of $50,000.

The cases on which the teams will compete integrate complex data sets similar to those seen in a number of industries and positions. This year, eight graduate teams and six undergraduate teams will compete. Undergraduate schools in the competition include Drexel University, Universidad Panamericana de Guadalajara, University of Maryland, University of Pennsylvania, Utah State University and Wake Forest University.

Each team will compete in a semifinal round April 11 at Wake Forest University School of Business. Two teams from the graduate division will compete on April 12 at the Inmar Analytics Forum, as will the undergraduate winning team.
