UMKC Professor Weighs in on the Minimum Wage Debate
Listen to the story on KCUR’s website.
On a recent segment of KCUR’s Central Standard, host Brian Ellison talked with two economists who have differing views on minimum wage: Peter Eaton, an associate professor of Economics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and Patrick Ishmael, a policy analyst for the Show Me Institute. The group discussed the complicated pros and cons of raising the minimum wage.
Toward the end of the show, guests looked back on the life of E. Grey Dimond, founder of the UMKC School of Medicine. Felix Sabates, founding chairman of the Dept. of Ophthalmology for the UMKC School of Medicine, and Harry Jonas, former dean of the UMKC School of Medicine, both shared their thoughts on Dimond’s legacy.
