A Wealth of Destinations

“Having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world, I am not the same.”

Modern poet Mary Anne Radmacher knows what she’s talking about. At the Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, September 12, you will hear the same persuasive message from Study Abroad returning students, UMKC faculty leaders and professional Study Abroad providers. The event, sponsored by the the International Academic Programs Office, begins at 11:00 a.m. in Pierson Auditorium in the Student Success Center and continues until 2:00 p.m.

Plenty of knowledgeable people will be on hand to describe the wealth of destinations, personal experiences, the variety of programs, and the potential for financial support. An unexpected benefit – faculty members have been asked to add the fair to course syllabi; and some may offer extra credit for attendance.
