Students preparing for law school have a unique opportunity to study for the upcoming October LSAT at UMKC. Through a partnership between the law school and Get Smarter Prep, students can enroll in a six-week LSAT prep course designed to not only cover the LSAT sections and writing sample but also the law school admissions process. Get Smarter Prep developed the material and UMKC is providing the location as well as law school professors who are willing to work one-on-one with students, allowing participants to learn about the law school application and admissions process from admissions professionals and UMKC faculty.
The course, which includes two full-length practice tests, begins Monday, August 12 and runs through October 2, preparing students for the October 5 test date. The cost is $400 for students who register prior to August 1 and $450 for students who register between August 1 and August 17.
“Preparing for the LSAT can be overwhelming, but having an affordable LSAT prep course close to home helps students go into the exam with confidence,” said UMKC School of Law Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator, Brieanne Hilton.
