Over the weekend, the Information Services server team responded to a storage-area network (SAN) hardware failure in one of our data centers. Some affected systems included the Blackboard login server, Remote Labs, departmental website servers, and many others.
IS technicians worked diligently throughout the night to bring key systems back online by early Monday morning. UMKC students, faculty and staff may experience some intermittent technical issues this week until replacement hardware arrives and is installed.
