A Reading and Interview with Jayne Anne Phillips

Join us for a special reading and q&a session with Jayne Anne Phillips. Phillips will read from and discuss her new novel, Quiet Dell, described by Stephen King to be “a brilliant fusion of fact and fiction…Quiet Dell will be compared to In Cold Blood.”

Jayne Anne Phillips is the author of five novels and two books of stories. Phillips is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, two National Endowments for the Arts Fellowships, a Howard Fellowship, and a Bunting Fellowship. She has received numerous recognitions and awards for her writing including the prestigious Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction, spots on the New York Times best seller list and she has been nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

Phillips is currently a Distinguished Professor of English and Director of the Rutgers Newark M.F.A program at Rutgers-Newark, the State University of New Jersey.
