Meagan A. Conley is pursuing a DMA in trumpet performance at the UMKC Conservatory. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Arkansas State University, a Professional Performers Certificate from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Arts from the University of Iowa, where she was a member of the Iowa Brass Quintet. She has performed with the Arkansas Symphony, the Arkansas State Brass Quintet, the Delta Symphony, and the Delta Brass Quintet. In 2014 Meagan was appointed an adjunct trumpet instructor position at Arkansas State University.  In the summer of 2014 she toured Mexico with Opera Maya, an opera company based in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. She is currently principal trumpet with the Kansas City Civic Orchestra. Her primary instructors include Chris Wilson, Amy Schendel, Langston Fitzgerald III, and Keith Benjamin.
