Participants will be accompanied by chaperones at all times and will not be permitted to walk around by themselves. Rehearsal assistants will be available during rehearsals should students have questions or concerns.

Most chaperones are Music Education majors and are required to take background checks and training sessions before participating in the festival.

Students should plan to bring their instrument with them to campus each day. Students with large instruments (too large to transport) will be provided a space to store their instruments on the UMKC campus overnight. Students with large instruments should talk to their Rehearsal Assistant once they are at the festival to receive information on storage.
