University Singers is now holding auditions for the 2017-2018 season. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm (UMKC Campus, Grant Hall, Room 122). There is no cost or fee to join!

Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 20th from 4:00 to 7:00pm in Grant Hall, Room 122.

Performance opportunities for the 2017-2018 season include a Fall concert, the annual UMKC Choral Department “Season for Giving” Holiday benefit concert at Visitation Catholic Church, a Spring concert, and the Conservatory Artist Series Finale Concert (Stravinsky, Symphony of Psalms) conducted by Dr. Robert Bode with the UMKC Symphony Orchestra in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

About University Singers

UMKC’s All-Campus Choir, the University Singers, is an auditioned mixed ensemble comprised of singers from all fields of academic study as well as members of the Kansas City choral community. They share in an ability and love for making music at a high level. The University Singers perform a wide variety of challenging and diverse choral repertoire from numerous historical eras and cultures.

All UMKC students, high school seniors, and community members with choral experience are encouraged to audition! Available for 1 academic credit per semester.
