UMKC Choral Union is a mixed ensemble focusing on producing excellence in choral music and community engagement. Choral Union sings music for larger chorus and orchestra as well as music from the unaccompanied choral tradition, choral masterworks, and newly composed works from around the world. Regardless of experience, all UMKC students, faculty, staff, and members of the Kansas City Community are invited to participate in Choral Union. All singers must sign up for a choral placement hearing. A “choral hearing” is a required part of the process for joining Choral Union. The choral hearing will allow us to place you in the appropriate section.

Open to all students, faculty, staff and members of the Kansas City Community.
