Spring Choral Conducting Workshop

Four conducting fellows will be chosen by video audition to attend this free workshop focused on conducting the Duruflé Requiem. Robert Bode and guest clinician Danielle Warner will lead the attendees through one-on-one masterclass instruction on conducting gesture and musicality. The workshop will include significant podium time instruction with the opportunity to work with the UMKC Conservatory Singers.

Schedule (subject to change)

8:30-9:00am – Breakfast (provided)

9:00-am-12:00pm – Session One, conducting intensive with Dr. Robert Bode and Dr. Danielle Warner

12:00pm-2:00pm – Lunch (provided)

2:00pm-4:00pm – Session Two, conducting movements from the Requiem with the UMKC Conservatory Singers

4:00pm-5:00pm – Happy Hour
