Robert Howsare’s kinetic multimedia installations deal with the limitations of human optical perception. Utilizing found tools such as turntables and film projectors, he creates abstract imagery that emphasizes rhythm and color. Howsare received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2009 and his MFA from Ohio University in 2012. He is currently living and working in Kansas City, where he is a Charlotte Street Foundation Urban Culture Project Studio Resident.
